Overview
Welcome to GirderSweep. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how GirderSweep collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our application.
GirderSweep is a file cleaning and storage management application designed to help users identify and remove unnecessary files such as advertising cache, outdated APK files, residual files, and temporary data in order to free device storage space and improve storage organization. All core cleaning and scanning operations are performed locally on the user’s device.
Information We Collect
GirderSweep itself does not collect, store, upload, or share users’ personal files, photos, videos, documents, or cleaning results.
However, limited technical information may be processed by integrated third-party service providers for analytics, attribution, advertising, crash reporting, and service improvement purposes.
The types of information that may be processed include:
- Device information
- App version information
- Operating system details
- Crash logs and diagnostics
- Advertising identifiers
- Network and performance information
- Installed applications information, only through aggregation or advertising platforms as described below
File Management Permission
GirderSweep requires file management permission (“All Files Access”) in order to:
- Scan device storage
- Identify temporary files and residual data
- Detect old APK installation packages
- Analyze storage usage by file category
- Allow users to manage and delete unnecessary files
Without this permission, the core cleaning and file management features of the application cannot function properly. All scanning and cleaning activities are processed locally on the device. User files are not uploaded to external servers.
Third-Party Services and SDKs
GirderSweep may integrate trusted third-party SDKs and platforms to support analytics, attribution, advertising, diagnostics, and service functionality.
Attribution Platform. We may use attribution platforms to measure app installation performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and user acquisition channels.
Analytics Platform. Analytics platforms may collect anonymized usage statistics, device information, and interaction data to help us improve app stability and functionality.
Firebase Services. We may use Google Firebase services including analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring to improve application reliability and user experience.
Aggregation and Advertising Platforms. Certain aggregation or advertising platforms integrated into the app may collect information about “Installed apps” on a user’s device for “Advertising or marketing” purposes. This information may be used to deliver relevant advertisements, measure campaign effectiveness, or support advertising-related analytics.
Users may manage or restrict advertising permissions through their device settings where supported.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where required by applicable laws, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
- User consent
- Performance of contractual obligations
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Legitimate interests such as app security, analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement
Data Sharing and Sale Disclosure
We do not sell users’ personal files or cleaning data.
However, certain third-party advertising or aggregation platforms may process limited device-related information, including Installed Apps information, for advertising or marketing purposes as described above.
Users may have the right to know whether their personal data is shared or sold, what categories of data are shared, and what categories of data may be sold or used for advertising purposes.
Users may opt out of data sharing or sale where applicable by adjusting device advertising settings, resetting advertising identifiers, limiting ad tracking permissions, or contacting us directly using the contact information below.

Depending on the user’s jurisdiction, users may have the following rights:
- Right to Access: Users may request access to the personal data we may hold about them.
- Right to Rectification: Users may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right to Deletion: Users may request deletion of personal data collected about them.

Data Retention
GirderSweep itself does not permanently store users’ scanned files or cleaning results.
Any technical or analytics-related data processed by third-party platforms is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain app security and stability, comply with legal obligations, and support analytics and advertising operations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the third-party provider’s policies and applicable legal requirements. Users may contact us to request deletion of applicable personal information where legally permitted.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Because all cleaning operations occur locally on the device, users maintain direct control over their files and deletion actions.
